Create new slider banner

You can create different banners advertise.

Sizes:

- If page structure is 3 columns, banner in the center (user1 position):
length: 550 px
height: 360 px (can be different)

- If page structure is 1 column, banner on the top position:
length: 960 px
height: 360 px (can be different)

- If page structure is 2 columns, banner in the center (user1 position):
length: 750 px
height: 360 px (can be different)

- Side banners:
length: 190 px
height: on demand

If you want to create the slider banner:

1. Create banner client, if you sell the banner

2. Create banner category. Later use category in module

3. Create banners and upload images

4. Create module - banners

5. Create module - slider, which will show banners module.

1. Create banners client

1. Components > Banner > Client.
2. You can delete, edit old clients or create new. If you want to create, click icon New on the top right.
3. Fill in the form:

4. After changes click icon Save.

2. Create banner category

1. Components > Banner > Category.
2. You can delete, edit old clients or create new. If you want to create, click icon New on the top right.
3. Fill in the form:

Title - write the name of category.
Published - tick Yes.

4. After changes click icon Save on the top right

3. Create the banner

1. Components > Banners
2. If you want to create, click icon New on the top right.
3. Fill in the form:

Name - write the banner name.
Alias - you can leave it empty - system will generate alias value automatically.
Show banner - tick Yes.
Category - select category.
Client - select client.
Impressions purchased - you can write how many times banner will be shown for users.
Click URL - you can copy the link, which must open, when customer click on the banner.

You can upload banner code (write code in the row Custom banner code) or upload the image (click button Browse)

4. After changes click icon Save on the top right

4. Create module banner

1. Extensions > Module manager.
2. If you want to create module, click icon New on the top right.
3. Click the link Banner
4. Fill in the form:

Title - write the name.
Show title - tick No
Enabled - tick Yes.
Position - select position: slider_1, slider_2 or slider_3
Target - banner link can be open in the same or next window.
Count - how many banners system will take from the same categories.
Banner client - you can select the client.
Category - you can select the category.

5. Create slider module

1. Extensions > Module manager.
2. If you want to create module, click icon New on the top right.
3. Click the link Freeshop - Slider

4. Fill in the form:

Write title, select position, select module, which will be display. You can edit the slider size and edit other slider settings.

In Advanced Parameters write value banner in the row Modulio Class Suffix.



5. After changes click button Save

6. Clean cache: Tools > Clean cache > tick all rows and Delete.
