Create main dropdown menu

Instruction from version 1.8.0.0

You can create dropdown menu in main menu. There can be links to articles or categories.

Dropdown menu creation

1. Menu > Main menu > create articles or categories links:

A. Articles link creation:

Menu > Main menu > click the icon New on the top right > Articles > Article Layout > fill in the form

Write the tile, alias and select Parent item link (its the link, which opens a list) and on the right select the article. After changes click Save .

B. Category link creation:

Menu > Main menu > click the icon New > E. parduotuvė (E. store) > Standard VirtueMart Category Layout > fill in the form

Write the tile, alias and select Parent item link (its the link, which opens a list) and on the right select the category. After changes click Save.

After link creation your menu list can be like this:

2. Create the module: Extentions > Module Manager > click icon New on the top right > click the link Freeshop dropdown menu > fill in the form:

Title - write the module name
Show title - tick No
Enabled - tick Yes
Position - menu1 - it's menu position

Module parameters:

Menu name - select menu, which has the dropdown links
Menu class - write dropdownmenu
Column width - write dropdown column width
Open menu on click or hover? - select the possibility.

! After changes click icon Save on the top right. Next step: open this module and write, how much columns has the main menu link and on which column will be subcategory or next menu link.
