New product 'Document'

You can sell the downloadable documents (drawings, plans, electronic documents, e-books, etc.) in the store.

Documents formats: pdf, excel and other file formats, except music, movies, games.
Maximum file size: 20MB.

How to buy a document?

• Buyer add the product (document) to cart
• Click the button Buy
• Fill in registration data or buy without registration
• Select the payment method
• When the order status approved, the customer receives a link to the document download and upload the document

How create the product-document?

1. Site > Control panel > icon Products list > click icon New on the top right

2. Fill in product information tabs:

Product Information: Product SKU (code), name, manufacturer (if there is), price (VAT), discount (if there is), tick category, product short and full descriptions.
Product Images: browse and upload the product images and files.
Product Status: write the product quantity in stock and tick if it is a special offer.
Related Products: tick the related products, which will display in product page in related products module.

3. Click icon Save in the top right.

How to upload document?

1. Open the product > tab Product Images > click the link File Manager

2. Click New > browse and upload the file, select File type: Downloadable Product File (to be sold!), tick Download Path (e.g., for selling downloadables) > click Save on the top right

3. If you done all steps correct, you will see  the file line

5. Now do the test. Buy the product (document) > change the status of your order to approved > check email and click the link for downloading > check the document
